Cheshbon HaNafesh — Spiritual Preparation for the High Holy Days
September 3rd, 10th, and 17th | 6:00 PM

Elul, the month that proceeds the High Holy Days, is a period for us to look inward and reflect so we can show up for the Days of Awe as our most authentic selves. Join our clergy for a three-week series where we will offer texts, conversations, and practices that can support your spiritual work.

Ticketing & Service Information

High Holy Day tickets can be ordered online through Eventbrite and emailed to you if you are ordering for your immediate household (including unmarried children under 30 years old who live at home). Each ticket will contain a unique QR code, and every member of your household will need their own ticket. If you prefer to have paper tickets, you may print them at home or you can first complete online registration through Eventbrite and then email the office.

If you plan on attending services virtually, you do not need to register online nor complete any paperwork. Simply make sure your membership commitment to BJBE is in good standing by emailing Larisa Rozman at lrozman@bjbe.org. Service links and streaming information will be sent at a later date.

Ticket orders for members and their guests are due by September 8th.

Payment for guest tickets is due within five (5) days of placing your order.

To ensure ticket availability for our members and their guests, tickets for non-members will become available after the September 8th deadline. If you are not a member at BJBE, you may contact Larisa Rozman at lrozman@bjbe.org or Paula Cooper at pcooper@bjbe.org after September 8th to receive details on how to purchase tickets.

Memorial Book

Honoring the memory of a loved one is a powerful and important tradition in Judaism. We publish our memorial book each year for distribution at the afternoon Yizkor service on Yom Kippur and our Festival Yizkor services throughout the year.

It includes an alphabetical listing of all Yahrzeit plaques in our Memorial Alcove, members and the loved ones of members who have passed since the last High Holy Days, and a listing of members who died in active military service.

Please click the button below to download the printable form to submit names to our memorial book. Submissions and payment are due by September 8th.

Contact Trisha Agrest with any questions at tagrest@bjbe.org.
