Junior Youth Group Welcome and Opportunities
Shalom 7th and 8th BJBE families!
My name is Scott Goode. I am writing to you as the You
th Group advisor for the new 7th and 8th grade BJBE Youth Group. I grew up here at BJBE and was an active member of the Junior Youth and Senior Youth Groups. I also was a machonik for the 5th grade and held a position on the youth group board. I graduated from the University of Illinois in May 2008 with a degree in Geology. I studied in Israel for a year at Ben-Gurion University in Beersheva. For the past 14 summers I have attended OSRUI in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, and for two summers, I worked as the unit head of the work-study program for seniors in high school called Avodah. After college, I worked in California for two and a half months as an outdoor educator. I also am finishing up my certification program for teaching science in high school. This will be my third year working as one of BJBE’s youth group advisors. I am excited for this upcoming year! I hope you are too!
