This is my greatest desire: To have an active conversation with the Invisible, as it is written: God wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught. (Isaiah 50:4)And to doubt and argue, dream and beg, ask for help, ask for forgiveness, offer gratitude. To shout at the heavens when I despair and raise up my voice in song when I rejoice. To not run from what cannot be known or understood. To live in the mystery. As it is further written: Those who trust in God shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and nor be faint. (Isaiah 40:31).
