Director of Education Emerita

Sandy Robbins, RJE, is the Director of Education Emerita at Congregation B’nai Jehoshua Beth Elohim (BJBE) in Deerfield.  She earned her Master of Science in Jewish Studies from Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership.  She is the founding director of the temple's early childhood center and created BJBE's nationally recognized teaching assistant program, as well as spearheaded the cutting edge B'nai Mitzvah Revolution program.  Providing a meaningful, joyful, and enriching Jewish education for all members, children and adults, has been her top priority for more than 30 years.  Sandy has served as president of the local branch of the Association of Reform Jewish Educators (ARJE) and currently serves in a leadership position for this professional organization nationally.
