What are Mishloach Manot?
Mishloach Manot, also called Purim baskets, are gifts of food and drink that are sent to family and friends on Purim. The mitzvah of Mishloach Manot comes from the Book of Esther and is a symbolic representation of the Purim feast while bringing together our community. Sending a basket is a fantastic opportunity to let your friends, family, neighbors, teachers, and more know how much you appreciate them while supporting BJBE!
How does it work?
Beginning on January 29, 2019, you will be able to purchase Purim baskets for your friends and family. We will offer a reciprocity option when you are checking out to indicate you would like to automatically send a basket to anyone who is sending you a basket. You must make and pay for your selections by February 10. Reciprocity ordering (for those who have already made initial orders) will close on February 15. Each family gifted a basket will receive a single Mishloach Manot with a card listing all of the families who contributed. Baskets will be delivered by volunteers on March 10!
Baskets are $10 each. You should have received an email with a personalized link, as well as your username and password. Go to Purimproject.com to log in using your username.
If you did not receive an email with your log-in credentials, please email Dani and she will send you your username and password.
We will need volunteers to help pack our Mishloach Manot on March 9 and help deliver on March 10. Click here to sign up if you are available to help!
