Our synagogue is more than a building, it is a spiritual home and a caring, supportive community.

Connection
Our members, over 800 families strong, learn and grow Jewishly together through every facet of life. 

Our clergy team teaches, mentors, and provides pastoral care in times of both joy and in difficult moments.

Membership
Being a member of BJBE offers an abundance of benefits.

• Clergy support and guidance. We are here for you during moments of joy as you celebrate lifecycle events—birth, b'nai mitzvahs, marriage—and to help ands support you in times of difficulty.
• Holiday and Weekly Shabbat Services — Come be inspired and worship in a community that gathers to reflect, be uplifted and renewed.
• Small affinity groups created around member interests including Women of BJBE; Men of BJBE; Social Justice/Social Action; Young at Heart, and more.
• Vibrant Jewish learning at every stage of life:
  • Tot Adult Classes for our youngest families.
  • Chava Center,  a safe, nurturing, and stimulating Jewish school that fosters growth and development for learners ages 2-5.
  • JLC (Jewish Learning Center) a place where Joyful Judaism, Love of Learning, and Caring Community come together to envelop learners in the traditions, history, language, and holidays of Judaism. JLC also prepares our students for their b'nai mitzvah.
  • Adult Education for lifelong learning, offering diverse programs and classes designed to help you grow Jewishly, increase Jewish literacy, add substance and spiritual meaning to our lives, and foster community.

Your membership is an investment in BJBE — sustaining this dynamic engine of Jewish life: our sacred community and our cherished house of worship. Our Dues Plans ensure everyone can find their home at BJBE. We never turn anyone away based on financial considerations.
