The Men’s Club Board is getting VERY excited about the upcoming year:
Bears Sunday Night Football will be October 18, when the Bears play the Falcons. We know you will be watching anyway, and it is always more fun to watch in a group, so why not come out and watch it with us? It will be in a private room at the RAM in Wheeling and will include dinner. Details will follow.
We have coined a new event–SSS (Supper, Study & Stoller). Rabbi Stoller will be giving 3 classes on topics relevant to Judaism in men’s daily lives. We will be finalizing the topics shortly, but put the following evenings on your calendar: 11/17, 12/15, 1/19. PIZZA & POP WILL BE SERVED.
Other events are in planning, such as bike rides (during Sunday School), our popular BBB (Breakfast, Bagels, Briefing), a Family Ski trip (January 18), and of course our February 21 Texas Hold-Em Tournament. More details will follow.
LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD MEN (ok, so more than a few): We would really love to get more people involved in these programs. This is a great way to meet and become friends with others in our BJBE community, have fun, and make a difference. We are looking to break these into a series of small tasks, so they will not be much of a burden. For example, for the Bears game, we would like to have someone develop a final count and finalize arrangements with the restaurant. Please call or e-mail Fred if you can help!
